1 Visit Amazing Koh Nang Yuan

Location : Gulf of Thailand, North West of Koh Tao Visit Amazing Koh Nang Yuan Koh Nang Yuan is a small island and located only 15 minutes from Koh Tao. It is famous for its diving spots and its great snorkeling beach. Many day trippers come from the islands of Ko Tao, Ko Phangan and Koh Samui. Koh Nang Yuan consist of two main pinnacles and a small deeper "little brother". A prefect site for both training activities and fun drives with a depth rang of 18 m to 5 m surrounded by soft white sand dotted with the unusual symbiotic relationship of Goby fishes and their blind Shrimp house mates.

How to get there
Koh Nang Yuan is located 10-15 minute journey from the west side of Koh Tao. The cheapest and easiest option is to charter a longtail from Mae Haad Pier.

2 Koh Nang Yuan View Point

Location : Gulf of Thailand, North West of Koh Tao Koh Nang Yuan View Point One of the most visited view point on Koh Nang Yuan is Koh Nangyuan View Point. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Simply follow the signs that say Viewpoint and you will be rewarded with excellent views and great photo opportunities. Koh Nangyuan is a beautiful place to relax and snorkel during the day, and the perfect place to watch the sun sink into the Gulf of Thailand between the Koh Nangyuan islands. The island is located next to Koh Tao island and the beach is well known for its sugar white sands and crystal-clear emerald green water. Koh Nang Yuan is actually three little beautiful islands connected together by a gorgeous little beach (sand bar of about 50 m) which forms when the tide goes out. They are called North, Middle and South Island respectively. Looking from a far distance, it gives you an illusion of someone walking on the water.

3 John – Suwan Mountain View Point

Location : Chalok Baan Kao, South of Koh Tao The John - Suwan Mountain Viewpoint It is a viewpoint that most tourists won't miss when they have chance to visit Koh Tao as from here they can see the very impressive scenery of Chalok Baan Kao Bay and Thian Og Bay John – Suwan is named after two friends, Mr. John and Mr. Suwan, who found a viewpoint overlooking two beaches curving into each other. The viewpoint is located on a mountain ridge, at Chalok Baan Kao beach to the south of the island. It takes about 15 minutes of moderate trek over a distance of about 400 meters to reach the viewpoint. The spot offers a sweeping view of the bay. If the weather is clear, you may catch a glimpse of Phangan or Samui Island as well as the Ang Thong archipelago further away.


4 Chalok Baak Khao View Point

Location : South West of Koh Tao Chalok Baak Khao View Point Chalok Baan Kao viewpoint is located at Paradise zone of Koh Tao Resort. There is a party every Saturday night. This place is one of the best viewpoints to observe a beautiful sunset on Koh Tao. This viewpoint has lots of hundred years old giant cycads which give spectacular view. At this viewpoint, you can see an amazing view of mountains embracing the ocean.

5 Koh Tao Nightlife

Location : Sairee Beach, West of Koh Tao Koh Tao Night Life After a day of diving, snorkeling or other activities it is time to hit the nightlife of Koh Tao. There are plenty of venues to dance, watch live sports and play a game of pool or just to sip a cocktail in a relaxed atmosphere. Some of them offer live music, weekly or daily parties, pub grub or BBQ's on the beach and even theme nights.

Sairee Beach is where most of the nightlife with lots of resorts. Sairee Beach is where it's happening at night. Bars and clubs, some with live bands and others with some of the best DJ’s on the planet will make your rib cage vibrate. Some of the most popular spots include Touch Bar, The Deck, Dry Bar, Dragon Bar and Maya Bar. Just strolling up and down the beach at night is enough to keep you entertained. Fire throwers, jugglers, music and people are thrown together and make you wish you can stay forever. Most of the bars and dance spots are on the beach and some on the mountain tops.

6 Yaai Mae and Taa Toa Spirit Rocks

Location : South of Koh Tao Yaai Mae and Taa Toa Spirit Rocks Local in habitants here revere and worship two rock spirits called Hin Taa Tho and Hin Yaai Mae believing them to be gods who will protect them from natural disasters and bad luck espicially when travelling by sea. This spirit house is a place for people to show their respects and worship these rock spirites.

7 Mae Haad Shopping

Location : West of Koh Tao Mae Haad Shopping Mae Haad bay is the ferry port with a number of different ferry services available on and off Koh Tao. In the village you can find many restaurants and dive centers. Mae Haad has a wonderful village located directly behind it. It is actually quite expansive, and several times I must admit I Lost my bearings a bit. Great place to take a stroll, get a massage, grab a bite or a beer and see some life bands. There are several restaurants which play movies during dinner. This is also the area for ATM's, money exchange, 7 elevens, travel agencies and internet cafes. A very cool and young vibe. Worth your time to take several hours and stroll around.


8 Mae Haad Port

Location : West of Koh Tao Mae Haad Port Mae Haad is the main port town on Koh Tao where everybody arrives. Mae Haad is the most developed area on Koh Tao. There are two roads leading up from the beach to a main road. There is also a road running parallel to the beach. Although Mae Haad is the commercial heart of the island, it retains some of the charm of a fishing village. Mae Haad gets busy when boats arrive and then quickly returns to a sleepy place as everyone takes taxis to their destinations.

9 Sairee View Point

Location : A hill top in the north end of Koh Tao Sairee View Point Enjoy the unforgettable view at Sairee View Point. One of the most visited view point on Koh Tao One of the most visited view point on Koh Tao. It's located in a beautiful hilltop in the north end of Koh Tao. Not only can you overlook the whole east coast till Jansom bay, the owner has also a gigantic, whale skeleton on display. Close by you can visit the mysterious diamond caves.

10 King Rama V Rock and Statue

Location : Sairee Beach, West of Koh Tao King Rama V Rock and Statue Koh Tao, Thailand is a Suratthani province area and Koh Tao is located about 70 km east of the coastline between Suratthani and Chumphon, in the gulf of Thailand. Koh Tao or Turtle island, in the past the waters in the area were rich with sea turtles. On June 18,1899 His Majesty the King Chulalongkorn Rama V (Rama V) was one of the greatest and most beloved kings of Thailand visited on Koh Tao and left as evidence his monogram on a huge boulder at Jor Por Ror bay next to Sariee beach. This place is worshipped even today and should be treated with respect. The local people, they lived a very simple and tough life harvesting coconuts, fishing and growing vegetables.

11 Whale Skeleton

Location : Sairee Beach, West of Koh Tao Whale Skeleton Apart from the view and amazing the owner of Sairee View has managed to restore a 6 meter long whale shark skeleton. The story goes that the skeleton was found in a very large cave further up the hill from the restaurant, nobody knows how it got there, a strange tale indeed.

Location : Mae Haad Town, West of Koh Tao Koh Tao Temple This island's temple offers a shady, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere despite its location on the main road, 300 metres north of Mae Haad town. Set in quiet garden surrounds, it is here that people.
